A: We try and keep things as easy as possible for our tenants and know how inconvenient it can be to split bills with other housemates - especially when some may use the utilities more than others. At CK Residential we have taken this problem away from our tenants by offering an all-inclusive rent package, so what you pay each month is what you pay every month. Each of our properties comes fully furnished and at a minimum each bedroom will include a bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. We also supply essential equipment for the kitchen so all you need to do when you arrive at the property is unpack.

A: We cover all major utilities - gas, electricity, water, and council tax. If a TV is supplied in the property, then we will also cover the cost of the TV licence. We also provide broadband at the property and have a professional cleaning company clean the communal areas of each house every fortnight, both of these are services we provide to our tenants free of charge. We do not instruct the cleaners to clean individual bedrooms as we expect our tenants to keep their rooms clean. However, if you would like to discuss this with the cleaners, and arrange payment for your own room to be cleaned, you are more than welcome to do so.

A: The majority of our tenants are working professionals in their mid 20s and 30s, however on occasion we have post-graduate/mature students living in our properties. We try and keep an equal mix of males and females in each property and do our best to match tenants to the right household for them, ensuring an extremely friendly living environment for everyone. If you know somebody who is interested in taking one of our rooms, feel free to arrange for them to contact us. For every new tenant who takes a room with us via recommendation, we offer a £25.00 referral bonus to our current tenant who introduced them. We would encourage our tenants to get involved as much as possible in recommending new housemates, as this again can help to ensure a superb living environment for all involved.

A: No, we do not charge fees to reserve a room with us, however a non refundable holding deposit of £100.00 is taken to reserve a room and is then deducted from your first months rent. When reserving a room with CK Residential we carry out a full referencing profile on each tenant. This includes employer references, previous landlord references, along with a full credit check to assess your affordability for the room, we also require two forms of identification during the referencing process as per industry standards. Prior to the tenancy starting we would also require a deposit equivalent to one month’s rent which we register with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS), and your first month’s rent on account. Also, If you wish to renew you tenancy at the end of the fixed term period there are no fees to pay.
